LazyDawg

Okay, I know I’ve not been good at keeping LazyDawg up to date. That’s because I’m looking after 3 other websites at the moment! That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it! I’ve also started a new cycling club called Portland Velo, and that’s been taking up a lot of my time (Monique’s too!).

Enough excuses, though…the real reason I am overhauling the site is that there are so many cool technologies out there now that take care of the presentation gymnastics of websites, so I don’t really need to build everything from scratch. LazyDawg is a good example, as it is now powered by WordPress, the best blogging engine out there today. What I like about it is the easy install and administration, and all the cool plugins like the Flickr Photo Album which will be on this site soon.

I also like that anyone can reply to my blogs, and it is more of a two-way communication tool now than me pontificating the topic of the day/week/year.

The site is constantly evolving but I hope to have it populated with cool content in the very near future. For now, just check back to see what’s new.
